Birth Photography Changes Due to Covid-19
Covid-19 has caused hospitals to change their visitor policy.
Most area hospitals are only allowing one other person to be in the delivery room which means a birth photographers like me is not able to document this big day for you.... YET! Fingers crossed it will happen soon.
With some area hospitals now allowing 2 visitors in your post-partum room, a FIRST48 newborn session might be possible, but if joining you IN the hospital for a newborn session doesn't work, a Bringing Baby Home session would be a great option. (See the Birth/Newborn tab above for details.)
Since the person joining you in the delivery room is now your official photographer, I created a BIRTH PHOTOGRAPHY HELP GUIDE for documenting your own birth during COVID-19. I hope it gives you great tips to get photos you'll treasure forever. Complete the form below and it will be emailed to you.
To see the latest visitor policy for our four area hospitals, visit their website below. Keep watching for visitor updates at the hospital where you will be delivering.
