First48 Newborn Session

Those first few hours after your baby is born is a whirlwind!! Hormones are crazy, you're on an exhausted high, and many details will be forgotten, but you can have the photos to help remember it all.

For this 60-min. session, I'm on-call to come to your birth location - home or hospital - within 48-hours after your baby arrives.  It will give you a chance to catch your breath, eat, or even shower!  A First48 is a combined documentary and lifestyle session that includes a little guidance from me to get the photos in a small space that I know moms love. 

Let's document snuggles, fingers, toes, wrinkles, and sweet chunky legs and cheeks. We can't forget those first diaper changes while parents learn the ropes, breastfeeding, and happy but tired new parents.

Your baby will change so much in the first week that these first photos will be priceless. Visitor policies differ at each hospital so check if your children will be allowed to visit or if there is a limit to visitors. If you have other children or a pet or grandparents that you'd like in the photos, consider an "At Home" session taken at your home. We'll document the same sweetness as the hospital session but in the comfort, or craziness, of your home, surrounded by siblings, grandparents, and the 4-legged siblings.

At Home Newborn Session

In a blink, you will be taking your new baby home from the hospital and creating your new normal with one more family member.  I will join you at your home within the first week for about 60-min. and take those precious photos in the comfort of your home. 

These photos will help you always remember your tiny baby in a huge crib, the fun (or not) of siblings helping change a diaper, the little squishy yawns, your 4-legged fur-baby checking out this new addition, bath time, nursing, and more. It's a great session for grandparents to join in! It's the first days of your changed life and worthy to document.
